North Shore Association of Realtors® (NSAR) held its annual Membership Meeting on March 9th at the Waterfront Hotel in Salem. Joe Harris, Legislative Representative and federal lobbyist with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), was the featured speaker. Joe discussed the Federal Impact on the Housing Market, the NAR legislative agenda, and potential issues impacting homeownership.
The event also included NSAR Committee Chairs announcement of the new NSAR’s REALTORS® in the Community Email Campaign, 2017 June Event – North Shore Community Showcase, and the Town Monitor Training Program.
This year’s Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) “Dine Around” Challenge was introduced by new NAR Hall of Fame Member, Kimberly Allard-Moccia and 2017 NSAR RPAC Chair, Henry Pizzo. RPAC gives REALTORS® a powerful voice to help develop, advance and implement legislative objectives that affect the real estate business and the ownership and operation of real estate.
This was the most successful campaign to date with NSAR members investing over $23,000 to the NAR Political Advocacy Fund (PAF)!
